Jonathan Lynch-Staunton
Director of Marketing and Distribution
Jonathan joined HanWay in July 2000. As Director of the Marketing and Publicity departments his primary duties involve working with the distributors to strategise release campaigns. He is also responsible for the creation of marketing campaigns and key creative elements for each film, as well as developing worldwide festival launch plans for each title in conjuction with producers, directors, distributors and PR agencies. During his time at HanWay, Jonathan has worked on, amongst others, Bernardo Bertolucci’s ‘The Dreamers’, Phillip Noyce’s ‘Rabbit-Proof Fence’ and Woody Allen’s ‘Match Point’.
Prior to joing HanWay, Jonathan worked as Marketing & Publicity Manager at J&M Entertainment where he oversaw the worldwide release of Joel Silver’s ‘House on Haunted Hill’ and John Boorman’s Cannes award-winning ‘The General’. Jonathan began his career in the industry at Majestic Films (Dances with Wolves, Driving Miss Daisy).
